Daniel G. Gray

	Daniel G. Gray, age 48, of Benton, formerly of London Mills, died as the result of a mining accident at Catenary Coal Co. near Cabin Creek, West Virginia on December 26, 2002.
	He was born November 18, 1954 at Canton, the son of William G. and Bridget (O'Lain) Gray.  He married Judy Pence on October 3, 1993 in the state of Kentucky.  She survives with his mother of London Mills; two sons, Brandon Gray of Maquon and Timothy Gray of Benton; two grandchildren, Chase and Kaitlyn Gray; one sister, Catherine Leah Gray of Galesburg and two foster daughters, Chelsea and Jade.  He was preceded in death by his father.
	He worked as a coal miner since 1975, working at  Southern Illinois Mines and later working at the Catenary Coal Mine in Cabin Creek, West Virginia until his death.
	He was a graduate of Valley High School at London Mills, a member of the Moose Lodge in West Virginia and was an avid coon hunter.
	Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, where visitation was held two hours prior to services.  Burial was in the Cuba Cemetery at Cuba, Ill.
